I have multi-faceted experience as translator, transcriptionist, and captioning/subtitling expert. I started my career in 2003 with transcription doing general, legal, business, and medical transcription and then eventually subtitling from 2012. Armed with a zest to explore and continually driving myself forward, I forayed into translation. Writing is my forte and I have been doing translation for the past 5-1/2 years from 2012 for various clients including magazines, newspapers and book publishers. I also do home-based transcription (medical, general, business, and legal) and subtitling/captioning with excellent accuracy.

SUBTITLING SINCE 2012:
· Freelance subtitling/captioning/time coding from English>Hindi for various short videos, promotional videos, drama/theater, documentaries, seminar videos, audiovisual products.
· Proofreading and editing of subtitles/closed captions. Audiodescription/Subtitling/captioning for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (SDH).

· Knowledge of Subtitle Edit, Subtitle Workshop, Aegisub.

· Knowledge of latest versions of different DTP softwares like Quark Xpress, Pagemaker, Photoshop, Corel, Indesign, PDF Creator etc.

· I consider myself computer savvy and have confidence of quickly learning most software required in this field.
