Our book will be shared between three chapters related first to the presentation of the institutional functioning, the members of each group, the methodology employed in the project.
The second part will be dedicated to the theme of working with families: the child’s interest, the family rights, relations between workers, parents and children, institutional violence.
The third part is focused on relations between two professional groups, police and justice.

Short presentation and description of their contribution in the project:
La Maison des sciences de l’homme’s staff is composed by researchers, sociologists and anthropologists, social workers and heads of social service. It makes the coordination between the international network. Three researchers of this staff, each one specialized for one chapter, are responsible to write the book.
This staff has organised last year an international seminary, hold in Paris the 15th and 16 April 2005. For this year, the project will end by another international seminary which will held in Paris the 29th and 30th April 2006.
