The CGRF, Jhansi has referred a complaint before the Commission under section 14 of UPERC (Consumer Grievance Redressal Forum & Electricity Ombudsman) Regulation 2007 and whereas the Commission initiates the proceeding in the matter under section 142 for non compliance of Consumer Grievance Redressal Forum order dated 17-01-2017 in appeal no. 71/2017.

The Petitioner was represented by her husband. The Respondent was represented by his counsel Shri Bashisth Muni Mishra, Advocate.
The Petitioner submitted that they are being wrongly billed by Respondent Executive Engineer, despite CGRF orders.
The Commission enquired the counsel that why the wrong bill has been provided to the consumer, which is not in accordance with CGRF’s order.
The Commission directed the Respondent Executive Engineer that the amended bill should be provided to the petitioner and also directed the respondent to file the compliance report on affidavit within 15 days.
The Commission further directed that in the next hearing Executive Engineer should appear in person, otherwise penalty shall be imposed upon him.
