Introduction

The Northern Ireland Housing Executive (the Housing Executive) is a non-departmental public body established by the Housing Executive Act 1971, and is Northern Ireland’s single comprehensive regional housing authority. Further details are available on our website
Requirement

The Northern Ireland Housing Executive requires the following Insurance cover from 01 April 2013 to 31 March 2014:

  • Material Damage insurance;
  • Computer insurance;
  • Employers Liability insurance;
  • Excess Employers Liability insurance;
  • Public/Products Liability insurance (excess GBP 250,000 & aggregate cap of GBP 2,500,000);
  • Public/Products Liability insurance (excess GBP 500,000 & aggregate cap of GBP 2,500,000);
  • Excess Public / Products Liability (GBP 15 million over GBP 5 million);
  • Personal Accident Business Travel insurance;
  • Motor Fleet insurance;
  • Material Damage insurance (Homeowners scheme);
  • Excess Property Owners Liability insurance (Homeowners Scheme).

Tenderers will be required to meet the selection criteria as detailed in the tender documents. Only those tenders which demonstrate they meet the selection criteria shall be assessed against the evaluation criteria.

Tender submission

Tenders must be submitted in accordance with the instructions stated in the tender documents.

Tenderers must ensure that the following documents, properly completed and signed, are placed in a sealed envelope marked “T1181 - N I Housing Executive Tender for Insurances 2013-2014” and addressed to Mr Harry Weir, Willis Limited, Centrepoint, 24 Ormeau Avenue, Belfast, Co. Antrim, BT2 8HS. 3 Copies are required of each.

It is the tenderer’s responsibility to ensure that, in addition to any information requested, they provide sufficient details in their tender response to allow their tender to be assessed.

Tenders must be returned in a sealed envelope marked “T1181 - N I Housing Executive Tender for Insurances 2013-2014”, containing all the above documents which must arrive with Willis Limited by 3:00pm on Friday 4th January 2013.
