Holes Brochure
Name______date project is due______
Imagine Camp Green Lake is a typical camp. The people who run the camp would probably want to advertise in some way. Keeping in mind what Camp Green Lake is really like, your task is to design a brochure to advertise the camp.
We know after reading the novel Holes that Camp Green Lake was not a fun place to be. Stanley only chose the camp because it sounded better than jail and he had never been to camp. Your brochure could be humorous by making the activities at camp green lake sound like a great time. Most real camp brochures include information about location, organized activities, skills that campers will learn, sleeping/eating/bathing facilities, and any special features. For example, at Camp Green Lake the campers experience the excitement of digging for buried treasure and how to defend your-self against yellow spotted lizards. A good brochure should be very informative and colorful. Be creative and have fun with this project!
