TAIS Mission Command CPCE Liaison

Support the Government's Air Traffic Control Product Office in Huntsville, AL with Army Airspace Control (AC) integration support relative to the Tactical Airspace Integration System (TAIS) and Army Mission Command Systems, PM Mission Command. The TAIS Command Post Computing environment (CP CE) liaison position will reside at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland.

• Shall provide support to PM ATC in the preparation and development of program schedules, assess the Government and/or contractor schedules against schedule databases, conduct risk assessments on both contractor and Government schedules and develop schedule assessment techniques. The contractor shall provide program management advice to include analysis and integration of results from field testing and operational testing to validate the key performance parameters for the TAIS program. The contractor shall collect and integrate data from logistics, operational testing, acquisition program baseline, acquisition strategy, key performance parameters, risk analysis and life-cycle cost estimates and shall develop recommended strategies for development and procurement requirements to ensure inclusion of systems engineering, software acquisition management, funds management, logistics management, and manufacturing and production. Contractor input and recommendations are required in developing and evaluating strategies, plans, schedules, system engineering analyses, technology assessments, briefings, and other deliverables in support of TAIS relative to Army Battle Command System initiatives.

• The contractor shall provide support to ensure long range technical and logistics goals and objectives are adequately planned, coordinated and met. Contractor will determine and pursue courses of action necessary to obtain desired results. Completed work is reviewed from a relatively long- term perspective, for desired results. The contractor shall attend or host conferences and meetings in support of TAIS for acquisition, logistics, supportability, and transformation processes. The contractor shall provide recommendations which will ensure that the integration of ATC enhances mobility, versatility, and technological developments in support of the Army Battle Command consolidation and ATC product lines, including planned product improvements and airspace integration initiatives.

• Shall interact with O-6/O-7 leadership on a frequent basis to communicate positions and recommendations.

• Shall serve as the primary customer contact for areas of responsibility.

• Shall provide recommendations in support of the TAIS strategic plans regarding documentation and training as it relates to products in support of Common Operating Environment (COE), Command Post Computing Environment (CP CE), and Network Integration Event (NIE) efforts.

• Shall provide recommendations and inputs to the Mission Command Workstations and Integrated Services Infrastructure Server Stacks architecture as it relates to TAIS requirements.

• Shall assist in effectively planning, organizing and leading lifecycle technical and logistics efforts.

• Shall coordinate and interface with a geographically diverse development team including the Government customer, Assistant Product Manager, subcontractors, and staff leads for systems integration, training, technical documentation, and provisioning.

• Establish a parity relationship with the other disciplines and other programs centered on collaboration and strategic planning

• Identify any technical and organizational risks, and ensure they are reported to all appropriate parties.

• Provide timely, accurate and complete logistics data for internal and external program reviews

• Shall coordinate and co-lead (with the Government) the TAIS portion of the program’s Supportability Integrated Product Team (SIPT) meetings

BS in Engineering, business or operations research and 20 years of relevant experience or MS and 18 years of relevant experience or PhD and 16 years of relevant experience required. Travel up to 20% required.

• Knowledge of the ILS Elements (supply support; maintenance planning; manpower and personnel; technical manuals; training and training equipment; support equipment; facilities; computer resources support; packaging, handling, storage and transportation (PHS&T); design interface; reliability, maintainability and availability (RM&A), how they interact and how they are applied across a program, their effect on a system, plus how a systems’ design and changes affect the ILS elements required.

• In-depth knowledge of military/commercial requirements/specifications required.

• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office 2007 applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project.

• Ability to effectively influence and coordinate with other disciplines for program/project resolutions/enhancements required.

• Highly effective communication skills both written and verbal required.

• Ability to multitask consistently required.

Candidate must be eligible for a security clearance which requires US citizenship.

Knowledge of tactical Army Command and Control is highly desired. Knowledge of command and control, including associated digital messaging and other forms of data, including streaming video is highly desired.

Weapons Technical Intelligence Analyst (Intel)

As a Senior Weapons Technical Intelligence (WTI) Analyst operating within the G-38 Adaptive counter Improvised Explosive Device (C-IED) Solutions (ACES) Division working collaboratively with the Terrorist Explosive Device Analytical Center (TEDAC), the candidate will be responsible for providing the Headquarters Department of the Army (HQDA) G-3’s Technical Forensic Exploitation (TFE) Division with detailed assessments of various aspects of the C-IED mission area, and briefing these assessments to HQDA Senior Leadership as well as other governmental agencies. The WTI Analyst (Intel) works closely with the Combined Explosive Exploitation Cell (CEXC) and other deployed forces operating with the Department of Defense and Department of Justice. Additional duties include producing timely analytical products encompassing technical and tactical data, through collaboration with scientists. Analytical products will identify emerging threats and analyze historical trends, fusing multiple intelligence disciplines together in order to support counter-IED efforts. Intelligence reports developed will be used in collaboration with other governmental agencies to identify various individuals and organizations within insurgent networks in order to provide combatant commanders, forward-deployed entities, and other areas of concern with actionable intelligence. This position requires the WTI Analyst (Intel) to provide response to Requests for Information (RFIs) from the Department of Defense and other governmental agencies (OGAs) concerning IEDs, enemy TTPs, and military ordnance. The WTI Analyst (Intel) will be capable of and competent in assisting in the prioritization of the development of personal protective equipment (PPE) for deploying forces and the capability of provide range support to the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s (FBI’s) Explosives Unit.

Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 12 years of WTI experience. Degree can be exchanged for an additional 4 years of experience. Counter IED knowledge required.

Military Intel Experience and EOD experience is preferred.

Simulation Support Specialist

Will perform duties related to Modeling and Simulation in support of exercises and training for the US Military and coalition partners. Job Activities include: Operation and Maintenance of Computer and Networking Equipment; Initialization and operation of the Flight Mission Simulator –Digital and related local and wide area network termination equipment; Setup, operation and maintenance of the Reconfigurable Table Top Trainer (RT3); Packing/unpacking and loading/unloading equipment for exercises. Setup, operation and maintenance of computer systems and networks; Scripting and running various simulations on a wide range of operating systems; Loading and testing software; Maintaining simulation equipment and facilities; Performing inventories and maintaining accountability documentation; Troubleshooting interfaces between simulation devices and tactical interfaces; Other duties in support of Simulation & training events; Applicant must have good writing and communications skills; Preferred experience includes - Recent experience with the Patriot Air Defense Artillery Firing Battery or Battalion Information Coordination Central operations is preferred; Understanding of Integrated Air and Missile Defense architecture; Engagement Operations network, and Force Operations networks; Able to interface regularly with Higher HQ officers to determine training exercise and event requirements. Able to provide leadership and guidance to other Simulation Support personnel in the area to plan and execute distributed training events. Experience with basic Sun Solaris, UNIX, Red Hat and Windows operating systems helpful; Network Certification (CISCO) or comparable a plus. High School Diploma required. Degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or related discipline preferred but not required. Technical Certifications in Network +, Security +, CISSP or other Information Assurance vocation a plus.
