About Our Venues

With two fantastic bars in the heart of London, King’s College London Students’ Union (KCLSU) provides quality venues for hire at affordable prices. Whether it’s an intimate gathering of friends or a party for 300 people, whatever event you’re planning, we can help you make it happen in style.

Guy’s Bar

This intimate venue located right next to London’s famous Shard is a great place for any event including live music, club nights and dinner parties.

Where: Boland House, St Thomas’ Street, London SE1 9RT

Waterfront Bar & Kitchen
Overlooking the Thames, Waterfront Bar & Kitchen boasts some of the best views across the Capital. Inside, your guests can relax on its sofa beds, chat or dine formally. This flexible space is suitable for a wide variety of events.

Hire fee (flat rate): £800

DJ Hire (optional): £300
You can bring your own iPod or USB for free. If you’d like us to, we can arrange a Spotify playlist. Just let us know of your requirements 2 weeks before your event.

You’re welcome to bring your own decorations, however please don’t stick anything to the walls

· Thursday: 4pm – 2am

· Sunday: 12pm – 10.30pm

Waterfront Bar & Kitchen (within the academic term)

· Sunday: 11am – 12.30am

Terms and Conditions

· Kings College London internal groups receive 20% discount on Venue Hire (flat rate). This applies to Kings College departments, student groups, societies, and KCLSU partners.

· All bookings require a 50% deposit upon confirmation.

· Bar tab or cash bar to be agreed in advance.

· Bespoke drinks packages available on request.

· Balance to be paid in full at the end of the event.
