Triangle Cup
2005
The Triangle Model Yacht Club is pleased to announce the 2005 EC-12 Triangle Cup Regatta, to take place at Raleigh, North Carolina on Lake Johnson May 14-15, 2005. Directions, a Notice of Race (NOR) and Sailing (SI) will be posted on the club web site (www.trianglemyc.org). All boats shall have clearly marked sail numbers. A list of local accommodations is attached.
Sailing will begin at 9AM Saturday May 14, 2005 and the last race will begin no later than 4PM Saturday May 14, 2005. Sunday sailing will begin at 9AM Sunday May 15. It is anticipated that the regatta will conclude by 2PM Sunday with the awards ceremony. Awards will be provided to the top five places.
Entry fee is $29.00 per skipper and will include regatta style breakfast both days and lunch Saturday. Non-sailing guests are welcome for $5.00 each. A Dutch treat dinner will be arranged.

Important Information regarding lodging:
The Triangle Cup is unfortunately scheduled for the weekend of multiple college graduations in the Raleigh-Durham metropolitan area. We were fortunate enough to reserve a block of rooms in two local hotels for that weekend. Unfortunately, you must reserve your room early by calling the respective hotels directly and mentioning our reserved block to the reservation agent at the hotel front desk. The prices for the hotel rooms are competitive with non-special event weekends.
