NFU MUTUAL NATIONAL QUIZ 2017
Would you like to do something ‘horsey’ without having to get your pony out of its stable? Would you like to have fun with your CHNPC friends? DO YOU LIKE TO EAT CAKE?
If so, how about helping to make up teams to go to the area qualifier of the National Quiz on 26th February? Practices will be held at Sarah Hodgson and Anna Sherry’s houses starting at thebeginning of January until the area qualifier. We have had great success as a branch at this quiz and have been to the final 7 times, being placed in the top 4 on five occasions and were national champs on one occasion! But most of all we have great fun and a lot of laughs!
The subjects for this year are:
Round 1 – The Pony Club and Ex Pony Club Equestrian Celebrities
Round 2 – Non Equine Achievement Badges
Round 3 – Competitive Disciplines within the Pony Club
Round 4 – Spanish Riding School
Round 5 – Practical Round – The Tack Room (Individual)
Round 6 – Keeping a pony at grass, worming and paddock maintenance (Junior and Senior Pairs)
Round 7 – Picture Round – What is this?
Round 8 – Equestrian Disciplines at the Olympic Games
Round 8 - Music Round
Teams of four are made up of the following members:
1 member any age under 12 on 1st January 2017
1 member any age under 14 on 1st January 2017
1 member any age under 16 on 1st January 2017
1 member any age under 25 on 1st January 2017
