FORTY-SEVENTH HOUSE DISTRICT

Forty-seventh. Part of Arlington County comprised of the Arlington Forest (025), Ashlawn (039), Ashton Heights (002), Ballston (004), Barcroft (005), Buckingham (045), Central (046), Clarendon (014), Courtlands (048), Dominion Hills (029), East Falls Church (011), Glen Carlyn (013), Lexington (031), Lyon Park (015), Monroe (049), Nottingham (037), Overlee Knolls (017), Park Lane (018), Taylor (051), Virginia Square (040), Westover (023), and Woodbury (041) Precincts and part of the Jefferson (027) Precinct.

Precincts shall be interpreted to refer to those in existence on April 1, 2011, and as reported by the United States Bureau of the Census in the 2010 Census reports provided pursuant to United States Public Law 94-171, notwithstanding subsequent changes made by localities.

The following descriptions are provided for information purposes only pursuant to § 30-264 of the Code of Virginia. The provisions of § 24.2-304.03 of the Code of Virginia, including the statistical report referenced in and on file with the Clerk of the House of Delegates, shall be controlling in any legal determination of the district boundary.

1. Beginning at the point where North John Marshall Drive intersects the Arlington County-Fairfax County boundary

1. southeast on North John Marshall Drive to North Little Falls Road

1. northeast on North Little Falls Road to North Lexington Street

1. southeast on North Lexington Street to Lee Highway (United States Highway 29)

1. east on Lee Highway to North Edison Street

1. southeast on North Edison Street to Washington Boulevard (State Highway 237)

1. east on Washington Boulevard to North Glebe Road (State Highway 120)

1. north on North Glebe Road to Interstate 66

1. northeast on Interstate 66 to Lee Highway

1. east on Lee Highway to North Kirkwood Road

1. south on North Kirkwood Road to North Jackson Street

1. south on North Jackson Street to Wilson Boulevard

1. northeast on Wilson Boulevard to North Custis Road

1. northwest on North Custis Road to North Key Boulevard

1. west on North Key Boulevard to North Cleveland Street

1. north on North Cleveland Street to Lee Highway

1. east on Lee Highway to North Rhodes Street

1. southeast on North Rhodes Street to Arlington Boulevard (United States Highway 50)
