The Origin
Kadmar Group was established in the early 1983 by Admiral M. Hatim El Kady as a shipping agency. Afterwards the Group widened its services by adding logistic
and travel agency services. Our founder Admiral Mahmoud Hatim El kady is the Chairman of the Arab Federation for Chamber of Shipping, Engineer Medhat El kady is the present Chairman of the Egyptian Freight Forwarding Association.
The Evolution and Expansion
Since then, as a response to customer expectations, the Group has significantly grown: fully independent company, domestic leader in all business sectors it involves 270-strong workforce and 5 subsidiaries. Kadmar operate 17 offices all over main ports and cities in Egypt and 2 offices in Syria.

Liability insurance
KADMAR is fully insured for liability by the first class worldwide insurance companies. As for property and other insurance related issues we insure our inland road transportation, warehouses with the first class local insurance company.

I. Kadmar Shipping Company
1) LINER SHIPPING AGENCY
HYUNDAI Merchant Marine Ltd. (CONTAINERS)
Offers a fully containerized service between the ports of the Far East and the Egyptian Ports Damietta, Port Said, and Alexandria. The service presented is serving Far East- Mediterranean - Adriatic – and Europe.
ORIENT ASIA LINES (CONVENTIONAL)
ORIENT ASIA LINES focus on regular Break Bulk Liner Services from the South East Asia to the Arabian Gulf, Red Sea and Mediterranean.
Orient Asia Lines vessels are mostly box shaped and specialized for carrying forest products (paper & wood), Steel pipes, glass, project cargo, general cargo and bulk cargoes with direct voyages to ports of destination.
EMPROS LINE (CONVENTIONAL)
Empros Lines have been providing international seaborne trade with liner services
from the Continent to the East Mediterranean ports continuously since 1950.
Empros presents traditional break-bulk/conventional, parcel and project cargoes of all sorts from Europe to Mediterranean.
(TRUCK RORO SERVICE)
Kadmar is professional for operating, bridging the newly born liner service for door to door truck service from Turkey to Egypt and vice versa through Iskenderun and Mersin to Port Said and Damietta and in the Red Sea from Suez and Sokhna to Dhibba. Kadmar was active player in the market and played an important part for the protocol between Egypt and Turkey, Kadmar has own Customs Global Letter of Guarantee.
TARROS (CONTAINERS)
Kadmar Syria is the Liner Agent of Tarros Shipping Line. TARROS presents container and logistics services in the Mediterranean Sea since 1828. TARROS is offering containerized and non containerized door to door solutions through a fully controlled logistics chain.
2) Tramp Agent
KADMAR is an experienced agent for liquid and dry bulk vessels, general cargo, reefer and passenger vessels in all Egyptian and Syrian sea ports.
3) Suez Canal Transit Service
Kadmar offers its clients a range of services for unimpeded passage of the Suez Canal. These services include:
- Registration with the Suez Canal Authorities for the first time transit.
- Fast track on the SCA rebates application system.
- A swift banking system working 7 days a week to secure smooth transit.
- Complete record on vessels position in the Canal.
- 24-hour service in our offices in Suez and Port Said.
- Settlement of estimated/actual cost differentials within 72 hours on transit.
- Advice on all documentation required by the Suez Canal Authority.

4) Ship Broker
As a high reputed ship broker, Kadmar offers a high level of shipping & charter brokerage mainly for cargoes bound to and from Egyptian and Syrian ports.
Kadmar is also active in sales and purchase as well as feeder operations.
Kadmar is Baltic Exchange brokers specialized in Reefer, RORO, Handy, Handymax, Panamax, and heavy lifts.

7) Ship Operators
Kadmar has been engaged in operating liner service for reefer, dry bulk and containers and is ready to operate services wherever business can developed subject inducement.
8) Terminal Operators
Kadmar has wide experience in operating terminals inside the port back to 15 years ago when operated a RORO terminal in Alexandria Port, now after Egy[pt plans for privatization of ports, Kadmar is ready to invest and go in ventures with aim to operate terminals inside the Egyptian port such as Cruise Terminals, Container Terminals, Dry Bulk terminals and other ports facilities.

Alexandria Port Depot of 20000 m2 is located inside the port of Alexandria.
3) Domestic and international Trucking
New MAN and Mercedes trucks are equipped for containers and cargo transportation all over Egypt, in addition to special Low bed and Extendable trailers for heavy cargo and oversized shipment.
