Corrections and Criminal Justice Committee Meeting Minutes

Chairman Gus Blackwell called the meeting of the Corrections and Criminal Justice Committee to order at 5:40p.m.. Roll Call was taken with all members present:Askins, Case, Duncan, Ingmire, Kiesel, Nance, Perry, Roan, Turner and Blackwell.

The Committee took up the following Bills:

HB 1380- Rep. Greg Piatt was recognized to explain the bill. Chairman Blackwell asked unanimous consent to amend the bill. There was no objection. The following members were recognized to ask questions: Kiesel. A motion was made for DOPASS. The following members voted AYE: Askins, Case, Duncan, Ingmire, Kiesel, Nance, Perry, Roan, Turner, Blackwell. The bill was reported out DO PASS AS AMENDED.

HB 1321- Rep. John Nance was recognized to explain his bill. Chairman Blackwell asked for unanimous consent that the committee substitute be the working draft. There were no objections and that was the order. The following members were recognized to ask questions: NONE. A motion was made for DOPASS.
