(2) Non-envelope users are encouraged to complete an ENVELOPE REQUEST FORM. (3) If you do not see your packet please complete an ENVELOPE REQUEST FORM. (This form is available at the envelope distribution). Once your REQUEST FORM is received at the office an envelope packet will be prepared for you and your requested envelopes available the following weekend. Religious Education News:
Sunday School: There will be no Sunday school classes on Dec. 26 and Jan. 2. Classes resume Jan. 9.
(1) Each month Sunday School classes learn a particular prayer. December’s prayer is “The Hail Mary.”We encourage parents and church members to help students learn this prayer and its meaning. (2) “RCIC”classes preparing for the Sacrament of Confirmation meet Saturdays, 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. at the rectory. Registration is required. Come to the Manor House and see Brother Gerry's Christmas Train Garden on display each Sunday, December – January, 1:00 pm.-3:00 pm. Br. Gerry Seipp, OFM Conv., Franciscan Friar at the Shrine of St. Anthony, loves trains! Come and enjoy an old-fashioned train garden and the chance to talk trains with Br. Gerry. There is no charge. New Year’s Interfaith Service: The 18th Annual New Year’s Eve Interfaith Service at St. Ignatius Church: 8:30 p.m., December 31; the musical program starts at 8:00 p.m. Many religious and cultural institutions are represented. The main speaker this year will be Imam Earl El-Amin of the Muslim Community Cultural Center of Baltimore. A Few Good Men: Christopher Place Employment Academy:If you know a man who is seeking stable work, stable home, and a better life, Catholic Charities Christopher Place Employment Academy (CPEA), a residential employment program for formerly homeless men, is currently recruiting for upcoming classes. CPEA provides participants with permanent and stable housing, substance abuse support, case management, and workshops on life readiness and finding and retaining employment. Through intensive classroom instruction, and group and individual sessions, participants are motivated to take charge of their lives and pursue their goals. RESPECT LIFE CORNER- March for Life Student Contest: Students in middle school and high school are encouraged to participate in the march for Life Student Contest, in essay, poem or poster entries. The theme this year is “Thou Shalt Protect the Equal Right to Life of Each Innocent Born and Preborn human in Existence at Fertilization. No Exception!
