The role / In the South West of Edinburgh, Thistle is setting up a new team of Personal Assistants for a young woman who will soon be moving from her family home into her own flat in the same area. We are looking for friendly, female staff who would be interested in supporting this young woman with the transition of moving into her own flat and who would like to help her getting settled there.
Thistle will be providing support for this young woman in the weekends and you will be expected to do one sleepover each week which you will be paid for. We are looking for someone for 15 hours per week but this can be flexible and if you are interested in more hours, this can be discussed during your interview.

Applicants must have, or be willing to work towards a qualification meeting the standards required for registration with the Scottish Social Services Council.
