Obedience and Rally:
NO BITCHES IN SEASON MAY COMPETE IN EITHER OBEDIENCE OR RALLY
ASCA Rally and Obedience trials are open to ALL breeds over 6 months of age, including mixed breeds. Your dog MUST be an ASCA registered dog, LEP, or have a tracking number to participate in ASCA Rally and Obedience. If you need a tracking number, you may send in the form with appropriate fees; checks for tracking numbers must be made out to ASCA. A tracking number application is included in this premium. A tracking number may also be obtained the day of the trial.
NOTE: At the time of applying for the tracking number, the individual owner must also be an ASCA member (minimum membership type of ‘Service’ is required). ASCA membership does not need to be maintained in subsequent years.
Refunds:
No refunds will be granted after the closing date. Refunds, less a $5
administration fee, will be granted to injured dogs or bitches in season, if
the request is accompanied by a veterinarian’s letter and provided to the
trial secretary no later than noon on Sunday. No refunds will be issued for
amounts under $10.
Move-Ups:
Pre-trial move-ups must be received by May 1, 2017. Day-of entries and move-ups are accepted up until 1/2 hour prior to the start of the trial being entered. Titles must be earned under two different judges.
Rally:
Qualifying and X Qualifying ribbons for rally trials
1st through 4th place ribbons will be awarded in each class.
HIT awarded for each rally trial *
Highest Scoring Junior in regular class for each trial.
High Combined for Excellent B and Masters B

Obedience:

Service Membership and Tracking Number
Beginning 1/1/2003 for non-ASCA registered dogs – In order to have ASCA qualifying legs tracked and to receive ASCA titling certificates, each non-ASCA registered dog will be required to have an ASCA Tracking Number. This is a one-time fee of $10/dog. At the time of applying for the tracking number, the individual owner must also be an ASCA member (minimum membership type of ‘Service’ is required). ASCA membership does not need to be maintained in subsequent years. It will be the responsibility of the owner to identify to ASCA the show(s) and leg(s) earned when applying for a Tracking Number for those ASCA qualifying legs earned from 1/1/2003 until submission of application.

NOTICE TO EXHIBITORS
• These trials will be held according to ASCA Obedience and Rally regulations. Exhibitors, through submission of their entry, acknowledge that they are knowledgeable of ASCA rules and regulations, and agree to abide by all rules in effect at the time of this trial. The ASCA Conformation, Obedience and Rally Rulebooks are available at: www.asca.org
• ASCA, MAASC, and the private property of Breakaway Action Dogs and Gladhill Brothers, will not be responsible for the loss or damage to any dog exhibited, or for the possessions of any exhibitor.
• All dogs must be on a leash when not competing in the ring.
• Any exhibitor whose dogs and/or children create a disturbance may be asked to leave the show site. In such a case, no refunds will be made.
• Entries from individuals who are not in good standing with ASCA will not be accepted.

Please make checks payable to MAASC. Entries can be mailed to the trial secretary, Patti Young, for Rally and Obedience. Entries should postmarked by May 1, 2017. There will be a $25 service charge for all checks returned by the bank. Please use separate entry forms for each venue.
