Hanover, April 2009. At Hannover Messe from April 20 to 24, 2009, ContiTech will be demonstrating how trend-setting solutions for the environment can be produced from rubber employing innovative technologies. In hall 5, booth A16 visitors are informed as to application fields for the forward-looking material rubber – especially with regard to energy efficiency and environmental protection. Under the motto “Technology meets life”, the world’s major specialist for rubber and plastics technology in the non-tire rubber area is presenting amongst others, rubber-to-metal components by CoontiTech Vibration Control (booth E23 in hall 25).

"Our presentation at Hannover Messe underscores the key role that energy efficiency plays in the development and application of our technologies," says Heinz-Gerhard Wente, member of the Executive Board of Continental AG and head of the ContiTech division. “In this way our solutions contribute to reducing the negative impact on the environment and protecting the global climate. Together with our partners in industry we offer an important social benefit.”

As part of the Subcontracting trade show, ContiTech is displaying sundry application possibilities employing rubber at the booth A16 in hall 5. A special highlight: mounts and bearings made of elastomer composites for the effective and economic generation of wind energy. These ContiTech products guarantee the functional reliability of wind turbines, improve damping, reduce noise emissions and ensure minimal maintenance thanks to the long service life of its products.
