The annual Phenomenal Women's Dinner is an evening dedicated to celebrating the lives of women at the University of Detroit Mercy. The vision of the Student Program Board is to celebrate the uniqueness of the campus by honoring the many women who contribute to the mission and identity of Detroit Mercy. As a Jesuit and Mercy institution, the values pay homage to the Phenomenal Women of our community during Women’s History Month.

1.  As a first generation student, how do you exemplify yourself as a Phenomenal Woman? This could include reflections from service trips, orientation, student organizations and other activities,(Attach additional sheets if necessary) (200 Word Limit).

2.  As a first generation student, you have had to make adjustments to collegiate life, how have you contributed to the mission and vision of Detroit Mercy as a first generation student? Applicants must be able to showcase their personal or group actions, which have positively affected student life. Ideal candidates have contributed to the enrichment of the campus community and have demonstrated the following traits: ability to motivate self & others, creativity, collaboration or integrity. This could include any contributions as a student leader, student organization or volunteer experience.
