VSI Volunteers needed to help at Music Festivals this summer Fundraising with a difference

This year VSI has a unique opportunity to fundraise with the Workers Beer Company. The Workers Beer Company (is part of Battersea and Wandsworth Trade Union Council’s trading company) is the only operator of festival bars in the UK and Ireland owned by the Trade Union movement.

You can help VSI by working with us at Music Festivals this summer –

Slane, Electric Picnic, Oxegen etc (see below for full list).

Workers Beer Company servers are volunteers and their wages of €8.65 per hour are donated to VSI and the other organisations involved. Since the beginning, over €8.5 million has been donated to social causes.

Volunteers will generally work 4-5 hour shifts. Bars usually close at 10.00pm at festivals. Volunteers will receive free entry to the whole event and when they are not working they can enjoy the sights and sounds of the event. For some events secure camping and travel will be available.
