Called to Order at 7:05pm

Meeting held in the Math Resource Room.

  • Approval of the meeting minutes from May 5, 2015-Dave Watlington proposed, Josh hitchens seconded, all in favor.

Treasury Report:

Status of account: $20, 956.92Beginning balance as of April 30, 2015, ending balance as of May 31, 2015 $ 17328.66 because of approved withdrawals: Rachael Dallas for garden $634.45, Odyssey of the Mind $2100, BPA $ 300, School Lunch Account for DeBenedictis Children $150.

SCRIPT-holding steady with orders, had one new member and balance of account is $ 1,147.23. Kim hasn’t been doing monthly e-mails and purchases have stayed the same.

Old Business

  • SMILE from Amazon-should be two accounts one for school and one for PTO. Terry-Please look into it and find out if we see rewards from these and if we can combine account to the most successful one and close the other.
  • SUPER G-Terry-Please look into this reward account and see if we get rewards from it. If so, please report to PTO so we may advertise this to parents.
  • School Logo: Terry to forward new school logo and new mustang mascot to PTO board for use on promotional materials.
  • Website for school-Terry to speak with Lindsay Mical about updating the logo

NEW Business

  • ICE CREAM-
  • Thursday, June 4 from 6-8pm at school for HVAC fundraiser
  • UD Creamery
  • Set-up on back portion of parking lot by 98th grade trailer, facing the opening to the grass of the playground area so the line of customers is in the grass and not on the blacktop
  • Please cone off the area for people socializing, leaving enough parking for ice cream purchasers.
  • $3.00 per scoop, cost is $1.60, $1.40 to PTO on each purchase, cash only if possible
  • All HVAC donations may be cash or credit card, $25/minimum
  • Get tickets for ice cream purchase, match up ticket sales and ticket redemptions at the end of the event.
  • Terry to speak with facilities about extra trash cans outside and getting the doors open for use of the bathrooms
  • Inclement weather plan-use the multipurpose room
  • Jump on Over to provide one bounce house placed on the playground area, free of charge
  • Rachael printing stickers for K-5 grades and distributing to teachers mailboxes on Wednesday night for 7:45 am mailbox pick-ups on Thursday.

  • Make sure date doesn’t coincide with DE Mud Run
  • Profitable if everything is donated, if not, we tend to break even on this event
  • Tables discussion about changing/replacing with another event
