-The 2015 Officer notebooks were handed out and the Chief referred to our goals for this year as well as the Officer training we will be having this year at our meetings. We all signed our Job Descriptions and Individual Objective Sheets for our positions.

Salonia:

-Rescue 1 is back online tomorrow. It received new tires as well as Engine 1.

-4C is out of service for stretcher modification for new 4C.

-Please follow procedure and Call Chief Salonia if there is any issue with vehicles prior to taking off line. We also need to communicate more if items in vehicles are relocated.

-4B battery light came on intermittently, and 4A marker light is out

Clare:

-New ambulance is at Eastford Ambulance next week to have final work done with paint and lettering. Hope to have delivered and then make futher modifications with radios etc. It will be at Court St. Station and we will then run orientation on it.

-The schedule changes need to get into red alert, we are trying to sort out assignments with all the people coming in.

-4B has a new Solid State computer and EMS Charts will be the only program used on it.

-There was a question regarding tracking of book-offs. The schedule changes are all in red alert but Chief Clare needs calls before it is put in red alert.

Duff:

-Q Class is to be scheduled on Feb 4-11, 16 and some Sat and Sunday training. See Chief Duff if interested or if you know of a member who needs it.

-Fire I is finalizing schedule this week

-There are a lot of refreshers and recerts going on, all will be posted on the web page.

-A letter has been sent to all the instructor level personnel to beef up assistance in running drills. If there is a topic you would like to present, please see Chief Duff.

-M. Gentile in Rocky Hill has alerted us to the fact that an RH Member has purchased a business in the old Seagroat property and will be opening it up to us to train in before demo. Watch for March.

Officers: Truck checks on 4A will be done by J. Pandolfo, 4B by C. Anderson and 4C by R. Thompson to keep up with any issues on the ambulances.

- Coles Rd has a girl scout troop visiting on Feb 19 at 8PM, may need some personnel

-D. Ricard reports that he has built a work bench at Court St. and is looking to use for repair and upkeep of chainsaws and part storage without duplicating Chris’ efforts. He also wants to go over chain saw maintenance with the Crew at Court St.

-Discussion regarding the zone response for the storms. Chief expressed that the three ambulances fully staffed is priority. Looking to keep the communication regarding the zones flowing because we don’t want to be too staffed at one location and light at another.

-Will look to do a Red Alert class with the officers soon, possibly next officer meeting.
