"The Three Greatest Events in History"

Acts 2:22-24

INTRO. Today is the day we set aside to celebrate what we call Easter. Easter is not a time when we go out and buy new outfits to wear to Church. Easter is not a time for adults to color eggs and hide them for the kids to find. And Easter is not little chicks and bunnies, but Easter is Christ!

It is the time we set aside to celebrate Christ's resurrection from the dead. But our world has commercialized everything and left Christ out of everything! Never let us forget what Christ means to us! Without Him we are nothing!

I would like to title the message today, "The Three Greatest Events in History". During our recorded history we have seen some great accomplishments. We have seen the inventions of the radio, TV, train, automobile, airplane, and space ship. We have also seen some tragedies in our history, such as, plagues, financial collapses, and as a nation, 5 major wars.

But for all the catastrophes we have faced, all the accomplishments we have made, and all the things man will do until the end of time, none can compare to these three events!

All three of these events happened in the life of one man, Our LORD Jesus Christ. Let us consider this man today. No man's life has touched more men than His. I ask you to consider this question today, "What think ye of Christ?"

could compare to these three events in the life of one man, the Man

Christ Jesus!

His Life, Death and Resurrection have touched more lives and

changed more lives than any one in history. He is our LORD and

Savior!

today! Come while He waits for you!
