Week 1: Tuesday 8th Wednesday 9th Feb. ‘Help create a habitat for butterflies’ at Groundswell

Week 2: Tuesday 15th & Wednesday 16th Feb. ‘Sandsational fun, creating creepy crawly sand art & a bug
blitz treasure hunt’ Sandsculpting, Frankston Waterfront, Mel.ref. 100 A8. Childs entry inc. Adults $6 each.
Week 3: Tuesday 22nd & Wed. 23rd Feb. ‘Dip netting for creek critters’ The Briars, Mel.Ref.145 D11.
Nepean Highway. Mt.Martha. Create your favorite ‘Magical aquatic minibeast’ using modeling clay.
Week 4: Tuesday 1st & Wed. 2nd March. ‘Yogalaties’ for kids in the park. Learn to make your bodies into frogs
cats, dogs & lions! Beauty Park, Mel.100A C9. Opp. Footy oval, Kars Street, Frankston. Make rainbow writsband
Week 5: Tues 8th & Wed 9th March. ‘Homes for animals, discovery walk’ Can you find Rosie ringtails nest?
Sweetwater Creek. Mel. Ref. 102 A7. Meet at Fleetwood st. playground. Make a baby possum to take home.
Week 6: Tues.15th & Wed.16th March. Learn about the secrets of spiders! Look for a 4 leaf clover. Plant a
sweet pea tee-pee. Groundswell Community garden, Bentley Place, F’ston. Mel. 102 C5. Decorate spider biscuit!
Week 7: Tuesday 22nd &Wed 23rd March. Activity: Kite flying at Seaford beach. Meet at
Café, opp. Seaford Lifesaving Club. Mel.99 D3. Craft: Make own colourful kite to fly.
Week 8: Tuesday 29th & Wed.30th March. Come on a ‘Seashell scramble’. Learn the role of these special treasures. Meet Pier, Frankston Waterfront, Mel.ref. 100 A8. Craft: Shelly sand art.
Week 9 : Tues 5th & Wed. 6th April. Share ‘Easter Egg Hunt, Easter games Hot Cross buns’. George Pentland Gardens.Mel.100A F12. Enter gate 6, Williams Street. Make ‘Easter bunny food’.
Note : Kids immune systems are healthier if they have exposure to fresh air all seasons! So in the event of light rain, activities run as
scheduled (BYO brollies/coats/woolly hats/gumboots for puddle fun!) Even if Heavy rain, each venue has an undercover option on site.

Wednesdays Dragonflies 9.30 - 10.30am * $10 family 2011 registration. To participate in craft, all children must register.
