Advertisement Sales

Every year at Parkview we host a large marching band festival at JFK stadium. This festival brings 30+ bands and over 8,000 people to our campus. One of the ways you can help make this festival a success for our band program is by selling advertisements in our Valhalla Program. This large book gives a listing of all of the bands, a schedule, and most importantly, a place for local businesses to have exposure to thousands of people from all over southwest Missouri.

Advertisement sales going towards your band fees…

  • Students selling advertisements will receive half of that sale credit toward their band fees/accounts.
  • Example: Student sells 3 full pages = $300, the student will receive $150 towards their fees.

There are two types of advertisements:

Business / Sentimental
Black and white is preferred / Family/Friends to send best wishes or encouragement to their PHS Band Student.
Business Cards, Letter Head, or Digital Artwork can be used. / Make sure the form is filled out exactly how you want it to look.
If a coupon or special offer is included, that will need to be supplied with the art work. / Keep the message appropriate to the size of advertisement you purchase
Any digital artwork/advertisements should be emailed to the PHS Band Boosters at . / Anything deemed inappropriate will not be allowed.
PLEASE NOTE: SPRINGFIELD MUSIC Company is the primary sponsor of Valhalla and therefore we are unable to accept ads from other music companies. ALL PURCHASED ADVERTISEMENTS ARE DUE BY SEPTEMBER 15, 2017

When an advertisement is purchased:

  1. Collect the money at the time of purchase.
  2. Turn in advertisementsas they are purchased. Please do not wait until the end to turn them in all at once.
  3. If a business would like to mail in the form please have them use the contact information on form.
  4. Receipts for advertisements can be made by making a copy of the form.
  5. Turn in form, (non-digital) advertisements, and money to band office.
