WESTERN PENNSYLVANIA
Two Party Local Cases, Per Party-Per Diem $ 2,000
Multi-Party Local Cases, Per Party-Per Diem $ 1,500
PA Counties include: Allegheny, Armstrong, Beaver, Bedford, Butler, Crawford, Erie, Fayette, Greene, Indiana, Lawrence, Somerset, Washington and Westmoreland.
CENTRAL PENNSYLVANIA, MARYLAND, VIRGINIA & WASHINGTON, D.C.
Comprehensive Fee, Including Travel Expenses $ 6,000
PA Counties include: Adams, Blair, Cambria, Centre, Clearfield, Cumberland, Dauphin, Elk, Forest, Franklin, Fulton, Juniata, Lancaster, Lebanon, Lycoming, McKean, Montour, North Umberland, Perry, Potter, Snyder, Tioga, Union, Warren and York.
EASTERN PENNSYLVANIA & BEYOND 250 MILES
Comprehensive Fee, Including Travel Expenses $ 10,000
PA Counties include: Berks, Bethlehem, Bradford, Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Lackawanna, Lehigh, Luzerne, Monroe, Montgomery, Northampton, Philadelphia, Pike, Scranton, Sullivan, Susquehanna, Wayne and Wyoming.
SCHEDULING, CANCELLATION AND POSTPONEMENT POLICY
It is necessary to charge for session dates reserved for specific cases. Postponement/cancellation of a scheduled mediation session causes disruption in our schedules and prevents the opportunity to schedule other matters. A standard fee for scheduling, preparation and services are billed solely to the party requesting cancellation/postponement, unless agreed otherwise by all parties. If the case is settled, the fee will be split equally between the parties unless agreed otherwise in writing.
Within 72 hours of the scheduled start time ONE DAY (Comprehensive Fee)
Cancellation/Postponement Notice within seventy-two (72) hours of the start time of the mediation session.
Before 72 hours of scheduled start time $ 2,500
Cancellation/Postponement notice after confirming a date for mediation, but prior to seventy-two (72) hours of the start time.
The Mediator may initiate a schedule change due to extraordinary circumstances without fees due. Under such limited circumstances, such as a death in immediate family, or emergency conditions due to increment weather, a party may seek reduction of the cancellation fee. Counsel being scheduled in court or discovery is NOT a basis to seek a reduction of the cancellation fee.

Explanation of Mediator Comprehensive Fee
Our fees are comprehensive and include all:
· Preparation time (reading and analyzing submissions, reviewing multimedia material, preparation and assessing structure and conduct of the session);
· Case administrative (convening the session and case management);
· Travel time and expenses;
· Administrative expenses such as telephone charges, photocopies and overnight deliveries; and
· Follow up by telephone is included in the fee. Additional mediation sessions held in person are billed separately.
In addition to the predictability and consistency of a fixed fee plan over a traditional hourly fee approach, avoidance of hourly charges eliminates any concern that the mediator is slowing down the process to enhance billing or is otherwise charging excessive time for preparation or follow-up. Our fee structure allows us to devote the necessary time at an appropriate pace.
We can only schedule one case in any one calendar day. Since we devote that day and cannot generally schedule another case on that day, if the parties cancel the case we charge the full fee. The party who cancels the case will normally bear the costs for canceling unless otherwise agreed to by the parties. If the parties do need to reschedule please call our office as soon as possible.
