REBEL CHARACTER IN ATHLETICS SCHOLARSHIP

COLUMBINE HIGH SCHOOL

The Rebel Character in Athletics Scholarship was created to award varsity athletes who have continually demonstrated character and leadership in athletics and in the classroom. The scholarship is funded by a donation from a former Jefferson County and University of Colorado athlete, who is now part of the Columbine community.

Scholarship Highlights:

  • $2,500 award to one male senior and $2,500 award to one female senior
  • Award paid directly to education institution for the benefit of the student.
  • Awarded to students who exhibit excellence in athletics, leadership and academics and have demonstrated an ability to overcome adversity.

Eligibility:

  • Applicants must be a graduating senior from Columbine High School.
  • Student must have participated in varsity athletics.
  • Student must have at least a 3.0 GPA.

Two copies of the competed application and all documents must be submitted to the Columbine High School Counseling Offices by 3:00 p.m. on or before April 14 annually.
