If you are newly hired into a career position with the Postal Service, or are a new hire CCA, you may enroll for the remainder of the current year if you enroll within 60 days of your eligibility date. (You will have the opportunity to change your enrollment thereafter during Open Season or if you have a Qualifying Life Event.)
You may also choose to waive your FEHB enrollment at this time if you decide that you do not want to participate.

*FYI – DO NOT wait until Dec 8th or 9th to make any changes because if it doesn’t go through you can’t change anything for another year (SUGGESTION in your mind set your closing date at Fri, Dec 5th just to be safe)

To reach the HRSSC using TTY, call 1-866-260-7507. You may also send a FAX to the HRSSC at 1-651-994-3543. Another alternative to the online system is to make your election through the PostalEASE IVR system by calling 1-877-477-3273, menu option 1.

NOTE: Rules Regarding Dual Enrollment
Dual enrollment is when you, or an eligible family member under your current self and family enrollment, are covered under more than one FEHB enrollment. Dual enrollment is prohibited by law, except in unusual circumstances when you or an eligible family member would otherwise not be able to have coverage.
