Established in 1984, Con-Test, Inc. was founded by Thomas and Kathleen Veratti and provided environmental consulting and testing services to a variety of clients throughout western Massachusetts. Initially, our laboratory testing division was limited to Industrial Hygiene analysis mainly in support of in-house consulting services. Over the years, we rapidly expanded our multiple state certifications and capabilities to include numerous techniques in air analysis, classical (wet) chemistry, and organics.
We are proud to have established a reputation based on quality, integrity, and reliability within the environmental industry. We now have a four facility campus and house many seasoned analysts with exceptional knowledge of their field of work. We have invested millions of dollars in state-of-the-art equipment and are always looking for innovative technological advances that will help us to provide the best services to you.
Con-Test provides environmental and industrial hygiene analytical services with full AIHA-LAP, LLC and AIHA-LAP, LLC ELLAP (Environmental Lead) accreditation. We have obtained the nationally recognized NELAP certification and are individually certified in many areas and states by a diverse group of recognized organizations
TOD E. KOPYSCINSKI
Laboratory Technical Director
Mr. Kopyscinski manages all facets of the full service laboratory technical development. Through direction of staff and programs, he ensures adherence to all QA/QC and ethics policies for the laboratory inclusive of data completeness and delivery. Mr. Kopyscinski ensures compliance with federal, state and international certification programs. He directs continuous training and safety for the laboratory staff and is a recognized industry technology expert; providing training and guidance for a diverse client base.
Additionally, he directs and provides oversight for the research and development program, evaluating efficiency, productivity gains and green technology for the laboratory; and is instrumental in the implementation of new technologies, procedures and policies in line with the continual improvement philosophy of the company. He is highly-skilled in gas chromatography and mass spectrophotometry and has extensive experience in and knowledge of Organic Chemistry and Air Testing.
Mr. Kopyscinski has a B.S. in Chemistry from Western New England College in Springfield, MA and has held the following titles at Con-Test Laboratory: Laboratory Director, Research and Development Director, Air Laboratory Director, Lab Supervisor/QC Coordinator, Organics Section Head and Laboratory Technician in his 30 year tenure.
