Topic / Discussion / Action items
Planning to deprecate older versions / o  Tracy has already been announcing deprecation of 4.0 and 4.1. Send another announcement to take 4.0 and 4.1 down on February 1st.
o  After this then send message announcing 4.2 deprecation and plans for 6.0 to potentially deprecate in July and see what kind of feedback we get.
o  Reil will look at scheduling a separate meeting to discuss more logistics with deprecation.
Term Browser Schedule Update / o  The UAT moved out a bit.
Discussion on defects / o  #23369 – Kevin discussed some updates on this. Kevin ended up doing an extension. A lot of the problems were from path to root and the nodes had a lot of children. Needed a way to page through associated concepts – so the extension does this and you can set the first 10 or 20 or whatever you can do that. We’ll get it set up this afternoon and they’ll look at it.
o  #24069 – this is difficult in that you can’t use and index since you don’t know where to start. We can index things backwards and search backwards but it only works if you have more than 1 word. A database won’t be able to do this efficiently.
o  #25286 – we will put this on our list to get done. Should be about a week or less.
o  #25021 – we would need a LexEVS tracker for this. If it doesn’t impact BGT Wiki then this is probably a lower priority. We’ll talk to Deepak
o  #25160 – Browser issue – LexEVS tracker is 20590. Kevin tweaked the loader preference file and was able to get it loaded. It may just take a reload and everything should be there. Tracy thinks they tried it but she’ll double check.
o  #25280 – Kevin released a new jar that improves the ranking. This came down to some of our algorithms do a boosting if you hit exact match. The boost was in a range that it grouped things by coding scheme rather than actual rank. He switched the amount that Lucene is boosting the score to get the right number. They’ll try it.
o  #25054 – Scott has some code and a junit for this. (same as 25067).
o  #24618 – Per Kevin, the OWL loader is the only loader that sets this.
Source issues / o
Synchronized update to NCIm / o  Need to update NCIm to take off some links (Bioportal, etc.)
Meeting/Work Structure going forward / o  Next week’s meeting will be back to normal. LexEVS will discuss CTS2 spec.
o  Also, we’ll have to send out a list of Gforge items for LexEVS we did not cover today and potentially discuss at next week’s meeting.
LexEVS SVN Migration / o  Just a reminder that the SVN migration is happening on Friday so all code needs to be checked into SVN by tomorrow at noon.
