Operations Procedures at MFL
A. Receipt Of Goods at MFL

2 / Customs declaration : client should fax or hand a copy of declaration. Optional : Packing list, Invoice. / Client
3 / MFL captures the declaration obtained and creates a provisional movement. / MFL
4 / Optional : Client gives MFL delivery order for collection of container. / Client
5 / Client ensures to have a clearance for collection of container at NCT on time, and a customs clerk to sign the gate pass. This service is available on demand at MFL. / Client
6 / Gate pass is then handed over to MFL driver. / Client
7 / MFL collects container and proceeds to Zone14. / MFL
8 / Vehicle arrives at Gate with goods either in container or loose accompanied by representative. / MFL
9 / In cases of bonded warehousing, client ensures that goods are accompanied by Bonded Customs officer. This service is available on demand at MFL. / Client
10 / Driver presents copy of MMA Gate Pass at the gate to MFL’s gate security officer. / Client / MFL
11 / If declaration had not been submitted (step 2 above), client representative must hand a copy of declaration before vehicle is allowed inside the zone for receipt of goods. / Client
11 / Gate Security officer verifies the following, / MFL
a. Container No,
b. Seal No (Agent / Customs),
c. Padlock,
d. Vehicle No,
12 / Goods moves into the zone for unstuffing. / MFL
13 / Receipt note is signed by MFL & given to client who returns a signed copy to MFL. / MFL
14 / MFL returns empty container. / MFL
B. Delivery Of Goods at the MFL

2 / Customs declaration : client should fax or hand a copy of declaration before vehicle is allowed inside the zone for delivery. / Client
3 / MFL captures the declaration obtained and creates a provisional movement. / MFL
4 / Client representative/driver presents copy of warrant (or declaration, if not done at step 2 above) to the gate security office at MFL before vehicle is allowed inside the zone for delivery. / Client
5 / In case of bonded warehousing, delivery is made in presence of Bonded Customs officer. / Client
6 / Delivery note is signed by MFL & given to client who returns a signed copy to MFL. / MFL
7 / Gate Pass is signed by both MFL & client representative & 3 copies given to client who keeps one copy and hands 2 copies (customs and gate) to the gate for authorization to move out. Note that MFL may decide to hold the delivery if there is any overdue amount. / Client
8 / Vehicle leaves the zone. / Client
