The Whitman Amateur Radio Club, Inc. is organized and constituted to:
a. Provide social and training facilities for future and established amateur radio operators.
b. Further the art of experimentation and activity on the radio frequencies allocated by the FCC to Amateur Radio Service.
This Club shall have as its members:
a. People who have an active interest in amateur radio operations
b. People supporting the purpose of the club.
Officers of the Club must have attained their 21st birthday and hold a valid FCC license.
There are five classes of membership:
1. FULL – Pay dues, have a valid FCC operating permit, can vote in club affairs.
2. Associate/Net – Pay 25% dues, does not need operating permit, can not vote.
3. Honorary – No dues, FCC license not needed, can not vote.
4. Dependent – Must be either a spouse or a dependent (under 18 years of age) of a FULL member. There are no dues, person must have FCC permit, full voting, age restrictions.
5. Junior/Student – 50% dues, must have FCC Permit, full voting, age restrictions.
Dues are due at the time of acceptance. Dues may be prorated for the balance of the Club’s fiscal year as determined by the Treasurer.
