Explanatory Statement:This ordinance deletes Allen Road which is now under Somerset County jurisdiction. Somerset County has established speeds limits for Allen Road. The description of the limits for North Maple Avenue were previously stated incorrectly (or codified incorrectly) and needed to be revised without any changes in speed limits. Alexandria Way, Commonwealth Drive, Smithfield Court, Hansom Road and Signal Point Road were previously private roads codified under the Title 39 section of our ordinance. These roadways needed to be codified under our general Traffic ordinances Chapter VII, Schedule XVIII. Annin Road and Whitenack Road are township through streets whose speed limits were not previously codified.
