ECRITURE
A A family friend has decided to open a small French restaurant. Propose a menu. Write out at least 4 main dishes, 2 side dishes, 2 desserts, and 4 drinks on your menu.
B Your new francophone pen pal Gérald sent you this photo of his family. Write a paragraph describing 6 members of the family: how they look like and what sports they like to play or activity they like to do. Make up names. Make sure you mention the relationship of the family member to Gérald i.e. Maurice, son grand-père, est vieux et sprtif. Il aime nager. This one does NOT count.
C Imagine you’re out shopping for school supplies in Quebec. You need at least 3 items (of your choice) in 3 different colors. Create your conversation with the employee (vendeur/se) at the school supply store. Include price. You should write at least 10 sentences.
D Select 3 activities that you enjoy doing and 2 that you do not enjoy doing. Write a paragraph telling what season, how often, and how well you do these activities. Be sure to use adverbs to make your paragraph more interesting.
E Write a letter to your French pen pal and tell him/her what clothes and shoes you and your friends typically wear at different times of the year. Use the verb mettre. You should write at least 8 sentences.
