The Purpose of this workshop is to provide information on a variety of Endoscopy topics primarily related to Upper GI disorders and treatment modalities that will enhance Nursing Practice in the GI setting.

4.0 contact hours have been applied for through SGNA, an accredited approver of continuing nursing education by the American Nursing Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. In order to receive credit for this offering, you must attend the entire session and return the evaluation form at the end of the offering.

2.0 contact hours are provided through Educational Dimensions, an accredited provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nursing Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation, and are GI specific according to the criteria of ABCGN.

  1. Demonstrate correct set up and use of band ligator and injection needle.
  1. Demonstrate correct set up and deployment of stents.
