1.04 - DESCRIPTION (APPLICATION)
A. Door Size - Unit shall accommodate an opening size
of 108” wide x 120” high.
B. Dock Height - Loading dock height shall be 48”.
C. Bumper - Total dock bumper protection including any building
wall offset or building wall overhang shall be 6”.
D. Drive Approach - Driveway shall have a level approach.
E. Service Range - Unit shall be designed to service vehicles from 11’ to 13’ 6” high above grade and 8’ or wider.

Part 2 - Products
2.01 - ACCEPTABLE MANUFACTURERS AND MODEL

2.02 - EQUIPMENT
A. COMPONENTS: Each unit shall consist of (2) two side frame pads, side curtains, draft pads, and (1) one head frame and one inflatable head curtain.
B. SIDE FRAME PADS: Stationary impactable frames shall be constructed of superior grade pressure treated lumber backing. The 50 ounce knife coated vinyl base fabric shall enclose a 99% memory low-density foam core that is chemically bonded to a pressure treated wood backing.
C. HEAD FRAME: Stationary head frame shall be constructed of tubular steel with a spray zinc top coat with translucent fibreglass securely fastened to framing. The head frame to be peaked for drainage and provided with galvanized steel support brackets for each side.
D. INFLATABLE CURTAIN: Inflatable head curtain to be full width over side pads mounted to head frame. In deflated mode the curtain is retracted behind a vinyl curtain for unobstructed access for incoming trailers. When activated the curtain will inflate down 48” to seal the top of trailers.
E. BLOWER: Motor blower assembly to be continuous duty ½ HP, 115 volt single phase and mounted within head frame.
F. FABRIC: The curtain fabric shall be 16 ounce Weartough knife coated vinyl fabric.
G. WARRANTY: Unit shall include the manufacturers standard a (1) one year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.

3.01 – INSTALLATION
