The Progressives-Harambe, Inc. is hosting its 37th annual fundraising event, on Saturday, October 14, 2017, at the Drury Lane in Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois.

Founded in 1972, this community based, non-profit organization is comprised of women dedicated to promoting academic excellence and building stronger communities. The organization’s primary purposes are twofold: (1) help cultivate and develop children in every important aspect of their lives—educationally, culturally, socially and emotionally; and (2) provide assistance to families in emergency situations in the Chicago Metro Area.

Our philanthropic efforts are supported entirely with the proceeds of our annual fundraiser, where more than 1000 guests enjoy the best fashion show in the Chicago land area. Scholarship recipients are the greatest benefactors of our efforts. We have provided educational grants in excess of $300,000 throughout our 36-year fundraising history. Twelve students were awarded a total of $24,000 in 2016.

This year the challenges we face are substantially greater than those of the past. We need you to join us and be part of this important mission. There are several ways you and/or your business can help to make our 2017 fundraiser a success:

·  Advertisement in the Program Ad book

·  Underwrite specific program segment

·  Underwrite one or more educational grants in increments of $1,000

·  Direct Donations
