2.1 Work in pairs. Answer these questions; first take notes and then, during the pause, write them properly.

2.2 Last listening

Listen to the dialogue at the end of the scene (0: 18:58) when Charlie comes back from dinner at Danburry’s house; number the sentences in the correct order. Check with you partner and then with subtitles.

KNOX: Terrible. Awful.

CHARLIE: That guy could eat a football.

KNOX: I can't just forget her, Cameron. And I certainly can't think about trig!

KNOX: She's practically engaged. To Chet Danburry.

PITTS: All the good ones go for jerks, you know that.

KNOX: Tonight, I met the most beautiful girl in my entire life.

PITTS: Too bad.

NEIL: Are you crazy? What's wrong with that?

CAMERON: Yeah, forget her. Open your trig book and try and figure out problem

CHARLIE : How was dinner?

CHARLIE: Why? What happened?

KNOX: Too bad? It's worse than too bad Pitts. It's a tragedy. A girl this beautiful in love with such a jerk.

Work in groups. Look for idioms on the internet. Choose 5 of them and compare your choice with the ones of the other groups.
