PROBATION PAY 2015/16
The NNC and SCCOG Joint Secretaries wish toconfirm arrangements for probation pay 2015/16, discussions on which have now closed.
General payment
Employees not at their payband maxima are entitled to a contractual pay rise of one spine point.
Non-consolidated payments and pension
Employees at the maximum of their payband are to be given a non-consolidated payment equivalent to 1% of their current base salary. To protect employees at the lower paid bandings there is an underpin of £300. The payments to be made areas shown in Annex A and will be pro-rated for employees working part time.
Please note that exceptionally, and following legal advice, these payments will be pensionable under Section 20(1) of the LGPS regulations with the relevant employer meeting the additional pension costs.
