  • To allow participants the chance to be recorded for a podcast titled “The Smarter Balance Assessment Experience.” The conversation will include a discussion guided by the following questions:
  1. In what ways were you able to collaborate with your co-located school leader in administering the Smarter Balance Assessment?
  2. What changes, if any, will you make to better prepare your staff and students for 2015?
  3. What are the optimal testing conditions? How can you create them?
  4. What training and support will teachers need to maximize student achievement potential?

  • To provide participants a clear understanding of the roles and responsibilities of a school operations manager at a co-located campus, so schools can consider whether hiring someone for this position might make sense for their own campus.
