- To provide an opportunity for traditional and charter public school leaders to authentically engage in the sharing of innovative and promising practices.
- To allow participants the chance to be recorded for a podcast titled “The Smarter Balance Assessment Experience.” The conversation will include a discussion guided by the following questions:
- In what ways were you able to collaborate with your co-located school leader in administering the Smarter Balance Assessment?
- What changes, if any, will you make to better prepare your staff and students for 2015?
- What are the optimal testing conditions? How can you create them?
- What training and support will teachers need to maximize student achievement potential?

- To provide participants a clear understanding of the roles and responsibilities of a school operations manager at a co-located campus, so schools can consider whether hiring someone for this position might make sense for their own campus.
- To share alternate strategies for handling of shared responsibilities if schools cannot afford a campus operations manager or do not feel it is the right fit for their needs.
