Your child has met one of the important milestones in his or her life – the first day of Kindergarten! It was such a pleasure to spend the day with your child and we had a wonderful first day! We hope this letter will answer some questions that you may have about the school year that we have begun.

Information About Me

My name is Patricia (Luz) Pipitone. I graduated from Manhattanville College in 2002 with a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education. I have been teaching for13 years. My career began with assignments teaching grades 3 through 5 in the NYC Public School System and I came to Saugerties9 years ago. I do feel you should know that I am extremely excited to be here because I was a student of Grant D. Morse many years ago. I graduated from Saugerties High School. My dream was to teach at this wonderful school and I am excited that my son has beenattending Grant D. Morse. I love teaching children and I have deep personal interests in science and math. I personally have or have had birds, dogs, cats, turtles, salamanders, newts, geckos, anoles, frogs, and toads. I enjoy the experiences that having pets can bring children and we will have some fish and amphibians in our room.
