Dear Principals,

Greetings on behalf of the Fairs Committee. This is the year for Social Studies in our rotation, and we are also trying to send out info in electronic format only. Since I’m sure that your students can’t wait to get started, all information and sample forms are included here in one document.

Please make sure that registration sheets accompany each one of your school’s projects when they are dropped off at WISCO on Friday. Students, parents, or classroom teachers should fill out the following information on the registration sheet: Category, Grade Level, Title of Project, Students Name, School, Teacher’s Name.

Timetable:

Register your approximate number of students by April 1st.

April 30th

Projects can be dropped off between 6:00 and 8:00 PM. in the cafeteria. The lower doors will be open. Please do not come earlier, as the WISCO staff needs to clean the cafeteria first

before we can put projects on the table.

May 1st

Judging will begin at 8:00 AM and continue till 12:30 PM on Saturday.

The Social Studies Fair will be open to the public at 1:00 PM on Saturday.

Projects can be picked up at 7:00 PM on Saturday, and no later than 8:30 PM.

If special arrangements need to be made, please call me. God’s blessings as you open your students’ minds to the wonders of different societies, cultures, and histories.
