GEORGE VS. GEORGE

Dear Students: In this unique activity we will learn about the American Revolution from the perspective of George Washington and King George III of England. You will have the opportunity to participate in Interactive stations using the George v. George: The American Revolution as Seen from Both Sideshistorical picture book.

In collaborative groups you will visit each of the eight stations and perform

the task at that station. Each task will have a point value that your group will distribute equitably.

ROLES: As station tasks differ widely, everyone will participate equally, yet there will be two job titles.

STORYTELLER – you will read the piece of the story at your station and make sure everyone is actively listening

JOB SUPERVISOR: your job is to oversee the assigned task and make sure that the group satisfies all the requirements.

THE JOB TITLES WILL ROTATE AS YOU VISIT EACH STATION (THAT IS EVERYONE WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO BE A STORYTELLER AND THE JOB SUPERVISOR)

Time Allotment: Each group will have a 60 minute window to complete the task at your station

REMEMBER, YOU ARE WORKING WITH YOUR GROUP AS A TEAM… STAY FOCUSED AND HAVE FUN!!!
