Faculty/Students
Canned Food Drive: The student council is collecting non-perishable items to help local families in need this holiday season. Please consider donating to help our neighbors. The homeroom with the most items will receive L&M donuts. The last day to turn in items is December 8th.
Holiday Decorating Contest: This year student council is looking to spread holiday cheer. We are inviting all teachers to decorate their doors and students to decorate their lockers. We will be judging the doors and lockers on December 15th. We will have three teacher winners and 8 student winners. We will award two winners in each class and all winners will receive a $10 gift card. Happy decorating.
Students
Freshman Basketball: Freshman Boys Basketball players are to report for practice today at 8:15pm.
Interact – Project Santa: If you are interested in helping with Project Santa please attend a brief meeting today at 2pm in room 225. See Ms. Downey with any questions.
Cheerleaders: Anyone interested in cheering for the Basketball season please report to the elementary cafeteria today at 3:00pm ready to practice. If you have any questions see Mrs. Hansberry.
SENIORS: TORCH is looking for your baby picture! Have any with other seniors? All are welcome! Pictures need to be handed in to Ms. Nicola today.
Class of 2019: Juniors, the second payment for the “extended senior trip payment plan” is due by the end of the month. See Ms. Downey in 225 with any questions. Also knit hat fundraisers are due in the next two weeks, so sell, sell, and sell!
Class of 2020: The second payment of $65 for NYC trip is due no later than Friday, December 1st for any student who already signed up. Any student who is still interested in going on the New York trip must see Ms. DiMiero or Mrs. Potts ASAP! Any questions please ask!
Interact: The next Interact meeting will be on Monday, 12/4 in room 225 at 2pm. We will be discussing January activities. See Ms. Downey with any questions.
Business Club Meeting: Officer elections for the Business Club will take place promptly at 2pm in room 115 on December 5th. All running officers must be prepared with a 30 second speech.
Guidance
Military Reps will be here on Tuesday, November 28 during 3rd period, to discuss ASVAB test results with any students that took the test on November 7th. Any students interested in attending the ASVAB Interpretation of Results should sign up in the guidance office.
On Tuesday, December 5, the ASVAB will be administered at RHS. If you are interested in joining the armed services you should sign up for this test. Additionally, any students that have not met the testing requirement for graduation should sign up. The test is open to all sophomore, junior and senior students. Please sign up in the guidance office by Friday, December 1.
