Position: Service Development Manager

Location:Dublin

Mason Technology, a leading supplier of Laboratory, Analytical and Industrial instrumentation, are recruiting a Service Development Manager. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this is a senior position who will liaise with the Senior Management Team and Business Unit Managers. A key element of the role is to develop a strategic road map for service focusing on expansion and growth.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop service programmes aligned with the overall Company strategy
  • Develop and implement a Service marketing strategy, liaising with Marketing Department in creating a Service website
  • Promote and development of service portfolio in both the U.K. and Irish market
  • Develop new and innovative channel of service to market.
  • Grow and develop new and existing business
  • Identify new partners for collaboration and expand business with existing partners
  • Develop and grow Complete Laboratory Support service agreements
  • Identify synergies between our sales & service departments to develop business opportunities
  • Ensure Contract retention of existing business

Requirements:

  • Experience in sales with a strong commercial technical acumen
  • Highly motivated individual with a drive to succeed
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commercially aware with strong negotiation skills
  • Be a flexible team player who can work independently and prioritise workload.
  • Attention to details and be able to work on a number of projects simultaneously
  • Strong IT skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office.o succeed.
  • Full clean driving licence is essential.
