OWNER/APPLICANT: Richard & Rosemarie Cantelmi / Community Action Dev Corp Bethlehem

The Commission upon motion by Mr. Loush seconded by Mr. Cornish adopted the proposal that City Council issue a Certificate of Appropriateness for the proposed work described herein:

1.  The proposal to install an illuminated hanging sign on the front of the building at 505 E. Fourth St. was presented by Jessica Dreistadt.

2.  The proposed sign will be 35 ½” wide x 34 ¾” high and read “Sweet Souvenirs Party Supplies & Planning” on an oval panel with a yellow background and green border.

3.  The letters will be orange in color and outlined in red with “party supplies & planning” in red. The telephone number will be located on a smaller sign that will hang from the bottom of the main sign. The same colors will be used on the secondary sign.

4.  The sign will be located between the left and center windows.

5.  The sign will hang on a typical black metal scroll bracket and be lit with small LED spotlights. The bracket and lights will be similar to those used at 409 E. Fourth St.
