I need to purchase the textbook and workbook for this class.
If I purchase used books, I must erase any answers already in them and write in my own.
I can only miss only two classes during this semester.
Doctor’s appointments are not an official absence according to college and district policy.
If I miss a third class, I will be dropped from this class unless I speak with the instructor.
I am responsible for any assignments announced during a class that I miss.
I am required to be on time for class and not arrive late more than three times.
All assignments are due on the day scheduled at the start of class.
I am required to participate in this class.
I am required to speak English in this class as often as possible.
I should only work on materials related to this course while in the classroom.
I should not text message or use Facebook in this class.
The instructor does not allow this class to be audio or videotaped.
Children are not allowed in the classroom or waiting in the hallway.
My cell phone needs to be put on vibrate when I am in this class.
If I need to accept an emergency call, I need to go outside of the classroom to take it.
I am expected to study six hours or more outside of class time per week.
I am to use only my EMCC student email when communicating with the instructor.
When I receive a grade, I have 7 days to indicate any changes to the instructor.
I understand that the Final Examination for this class is important and required for grading and assessment purposes.
