This event isa one day NEBCA sanctioned trial with one class each of Novice/Novice,Pro Novice & Ranch.
Entry: Entry Fees: Novice and Pronovice - $30 per dog, Ranch - $40 per dog. Handlersare limited to 2 dogs per class in the trial.Entries are open now. Paid entries must be received or postmarked no later than July27, 2018. No refunds after that closing date. Proceeds will benefit NEBCA (the Fall Foliage and the Novice Finals).
The success of every sheepdog trial is dependent on the willingness of handlers to pitch in and help. Every novice handler should be ready to take on scribing and secretarial duties, work in the set out pen, and, when necessary, assist with the set up and take down of the trial field. Each handler will be asked to spend some time working at least one of these jobs at this trial

Directions to Tanstaafl Farm:
From all points: Go to Route 91 (towards Greenfield, MA. Take exit #27, Route 2 east, Greenfield, Boston. Go approximately 2 miles; you will come to a set of traffic lights. Go left at the lights onto Adams Road. Go 1.4 miles. Denise’s house is on the right; a beige house with a beige detached garage.
Alternative route from the east: Follow Route 2 west going through various towns and eventually entering Gill. You will come to a set of traffic lights with a Mobil gas station on the right. Go through the lights continuing west on Route 2. At the next set of lights, take a right onto Adams Road. Go 1.4 miles. Denise’s house is on the right; a beige house with a beige detached garage.
Once you enter the drive way, continue through the drive through gate into the yard.

I assume all risks to self, dog(s), dependents and property while involved in any way with this trial. I agree to hold harmless the NEBCA Inc, Tanstaafl Farm, trial managers, judge and all others involved in this trial in any way. Furthermore, I agree to pay for any damage to persons, animals or property caused by me, my dog(s), or my dependents while involved in this trial. I understand that the trial managers will enforce safe and mannerly behavior and sportsmanlike conduct throughout the trial. Those in violation will be asked to leave without a refund.
