Participate in SkillsUSA annually with welding champions six out of past seven years. Supervised and instructed students in the correct procedure for designing and building small and large welding/carpentry projects. State approved programs taught include Welding, Building Trades and CAD. I have expanded the welding curriculum to include American Welding Society standards for welding certification. Worked with the State Department on the Carl Perkins Vocational Grant, and have been an active member in many various committees and organizations.

Constructed two Industrial Technology houses 2001-2003: developed floor plan; built houses directly on foundation along with attached garages; designed and built cabinets and vanities; assisted with plumbing, electrical and concrete subcontractors; and worked on and supervised students on all aspects of construction. Created module stations for exploring technology; transformed aged establishment into indoor archery shooting range; constructed lockers for new school addition; improved sports complex barrier; replaced city baseball dugouts; responsible for Annual Perkins Grant funding and helped to develop the South Dakota Crosswalk for Technology Education curriculum.

Classes taught: Drafting, AutoCAD I & II, Advanced AutoCAD, Woodworking I, II & III, Small Engines, Welding, Exploring Technology and Construction.
