HIGH SCHOOL ACTIVITIES – Nicholas Weingart, Principal

The Graduates of 2017 respectfully invites The Golden Graduates from the class of 1967 (50th Anniversary class reunion) to be part of the 2017 Graduation Assembly.

If you know a graduate from 1967 please pass along this invitation.

In 2011, Perry High School celebrated its 50th Anniversary when it graduated its 50th Senior Class. In recognition of this milestone, PHS started a new tradition of inviting back the senior class that was having its 50th class reunion. The Golden Graduates of 1967 are invited to attend the Commencement ceremony and to be seated in a special section to the right of the stage.During the ceremony, The Senior Class President will traditionally pass the “The Key” to the Junior Class representative. Then as the Senior Class President exits the stage, a selected member from the group of Golden Graduates, will pass the “Helm of Leadership to the class president of the graduating seniors as “they embark on the journey of their life.”

We’ve carefully designed a unique schedule to best suit the students and teachers at each grade level. We are so excited for our Perry students to show how hard they have worked this year, and we hope that you will help us by encouraging and supporting your child when he or she is scheduled to take the state tests. Your child’s teacher will be sending home specific reminders prior to the test day. Thank you for all that you do to support your child’s education at Perry Elementary School!

Sitaara Jones visited Mr. Turner's class to acknowledge the use ofgonoodle.com.Gonoodle is an interactive and free movement learning system endorsed by St. Rita’s. There are new and great ideas for teaching vocabulary and spelling practice with gonoodle. She shared with us that St. Rita’s has picked up the price of gonoodle making this great learning asset free for our school. Many teachers are now using gonoodle in the classroom as brain breaks or PAX games. Ask your child today about gonoodle.

Mrs. Pescosolido and Mrs. Casey’s classes celebrated with a pizza party during the month of March. Both classes were recognized by WLIO Hometown Stations as a class of the week in March. Pizza was delivered from Fat Jacks for their celebration. Congratulations Mrs. Pescosolido, Mrs. Casey and your students.
