Goethe-Institut fosters the study of the German language through course offerings and cultural events. On the Internet and over e-mail instructors provide teaching suggestions and information about resources useful for teachers. The instructors are also familiar with the German resources in the area. In addition, the Institutes are a particularly generous source of teaching materials, including textbooks, workbooks, slides, cassettes, multimedia instructional programs, monthly periodicals, tapes, videos, and films.
