Mission Ministry:
A very warm greeting from El Salvador, "the Tom Thumb of America" longing many blessings for our brothers and sisters in Monterey.
We give thanks to God that despite the difficulties that we are experiencing with the problem of the vehicle we have complied with the commitments that we have already gained since the beginning of the year. We have had to move "heaven and Earth" to find the spare parts which, when one buys a vehicle dealers promise you that they will be there in the Agency, from a screw up more larger pieces and it is not like that at the end. However it seems that the spare parts are only there the first two or three years when the vehicle does not need to change spare parts because the pieces are almost new. Well as I said before thank God we have no impediments to comply with the commitments of the month of June.
SATURDAY PROGRAM.
Women's fellowship. Saturday, June1st, House of the sister Vilma Luna.(Finca Montevideo, TheVolcano)
This day as scheduled we continued with our growing group meeting. We are having good results since we have friends who are interested in the word of God and at the same time the Group of brothers who is present to each meeting are strengthened spiritually, which helps them to carry out their gifts in a better way in the Church.
This is one of the youngest girl that we have in class, her name is Naomi and here is with her grandmother Vilma.
Growth group. Saturday, June15th, House of the sister Perez Emelina. (Las Palmeras, Santa Tecla)
The same experience we have in the House of the sister Emelina. The brothers have matured a bit more and that is also helping them to see how much more
responsibility the commitment that they have acquired with our Lord Jesus Christ. Both the Volcano and Las Palmeras themes are exclusive to awaken that interest and responsibility in the things of God. The talks are in the form of gathering so that everyone can participate in an open manner and with confidence.
GRADUATION DENOMINATE “PAPA OTO”.Saturday 22 de June. Auditorium “Katty Miranda” San Salvador.
This day we attended the graduation of the Institute of Studies Theological And Cultural “El Salvador”, where the father-in-law, Otoniel Peña Rosales, is one of the teachers. The Group of graduates of that day decided to call graduation "Papá Oto" in thanks to my father-in-law by his 49 years of Christianity and his 44 years as a preacher of the Church (5 as a missionary in Nicaragua and the rest in El Salvador). The ceremony was very full of emotions and feelings which became a memory along a life devoted to preaching.
In these photos be recorded the moment in which the father-in-law received recognition on the part of two graduates
SUNDAY PROGRAM.
Sunday, June 2nd.Chalchuapa, Santa Ana.
This Sunday we travel towards the city of Chalchuapa.Chalchuapa is a city, as we have already mentioned in previous reports, in the district of Santa Ana, in the western part of El Salvador, 8 miles west of the city of Santa Ana and 49Miles from San Salvador. On this occasion there was a small change in plans since the Church in Chalchuapa was having activities with the biblical Institute of Guatemala BICA Sunday 9 and June 23, reason by which we could only attend two Sundays during the month. The Church is very lively. The brothers attended us as always very well, the widowed sister Adilia Barrera invited us to lunch at her house. On the evening Gloria was with the women teaching the class and I was with the group of men. Then I had the preaching with the whole Church, we left from Chalchuapa towards Santa Tecla at 6:15 p.m.
This same Sunday, June 2, at Las Colinas after attending Church for a year and after listening the preaching, Francisco Alejandro Lainez decided to obey the Lord Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of the sins.
Sunday, June 9th. Las Colinas, Santa Tecla.
At Las Colinasit gave us great pleasure to be sharing with our brothers and sisters the word of God, since we had five Sunday of not to being present by having traveled throughout the month of May to El Rosario, La Paz, and then the first Sunday of June toChalchuapa, it was one of those months in which we got absent five consecutive Sundays. This very day restarted classes for preachers. Gloria re-joined the ladies class. Here, we took advantage for celebrating the birthday of bro. Jorge Torres, in the class of preachers.
Sunday, June 16th. Chalchuapa, Santa Ana
Again we traveled towards the city of Chalchuapa to offer our last collaboration of the month for the above reasons. The brothers again received us very well and we share once more teaching. The family of the brothers Pedro and Ana Monterrosa invited us home to share with us the food. Then we returned to the Church in the afternoon for the class with men and Gloria again to class with women.
CHALCHUAPA CITY
Sunday, June 23rd. Las Colinas, Santa Tecla.
We returned to Las Colinas to continue teaching and preaching. The Church has had some drawbacks to have running all ministries because of the construction of new classrooms for children and young people, that has produced some discomfort that we hope in God soon will resolve them when it is completely finished as planned. Although that does not stop the class of ladies and preachers in the afternoon.
Sunday, June 30th. Usulután, Usulután.
Early in the morning we left for the city of Usulutan in the East of the country. We arrived at 8:30 a.m. The first time we had very little assistance from people, that met the forecasts of the Meteorological Service had announced heavy rainfall for that day. We started with little assistance which as advanced the morning gets to increase.
USULUTAN CITY
This day the brothers Gerber Antonio Reyes and his wife Melva Yanira de Reyes made the presentation of daughter newly born in front of the Church.
The girl is called Genesis Daniela and together with the whole Church we put it in God's hands and to be Him who blesses her and keep her on the correct ways.
In the afternoon the service began at 1:45 p.m. with Bible class and then with the sermon. We left Usulután at 4:30 p.m.
THIS IS THE MOMENT IN WHICH I AM PRAYING FOR GENESIS DANIELA INFRONT OF THE CHURCH.
WEEKLY ACTIVITY. Monday, Wednesday, Friday at Las Colinas, Santa Tecla.
On Mondays as you all well know we meet to sing and pray. Meanwhile, on Wednesdays and Fridays we meet for bible classes from 6:00pm to 7:00pm.
THANKS GOD AND TO MONTEREY FAMILY.
